Colored Architecture - Tutorial
This software supports designing efficient and plausible colour schemes and material selections in the architectural design process. The Colored Architecture software prototype makes it possible to rapidly and realistically assess the effect of colour, materials and light in architectural modelling using a parameter-driven system.
The traditional way of rendering architectural models use radiosity visualization is often too time-consuming to be of practical use in the design process. To improve the workflow, the live radiosity calculation of Colored Architecture provides a physically correct visualization of the material whilst allowing the parameters position of the sun, cloudiness and surface-colour to be adjusted interactively.
Colored Architecture adapts best practices, representations and tools in planning practice such as variants, colour studies, colour harmonies and contrasts of colour to support the design of material surfaces.
